General introductions:

The Manual Type Twist Lock functions by inserting the container into the corner hole of the container from the bottom to the top when the bridge crane lifts the container to the designated height at the wharf. Once the container is placed on the ship, either on a vertical base or another container's corner hole, the automatic locking mechanism engages, causing the lock shaft to rotate and secure the container to the base or to another container.

During container unloading, the cables should be initially extracted using the operating rod to disengage the twist lock from the corner hole of the vertical base or the top of another container. The container can then be hoisted manually to the wharf for unloading.
